Duane Pow is the son of the most influential person and foundational pillar in the reggae scene, Father Pow. While many of us
growing up played in our yard with trucks and toys, Duane Pow was alongside his father watching him string up the Immortal
Sound. And while we spend afternoons watching TV, Duane Pow was watching voicing sessions out of the in-house studio with
every artist you can think of, and then some.

It's no surprise that Father Pow has been grooming his son to one day take over the empire that he has build and prepare him for
the business side of Stonelove's runnings. It was only a natural progression for Duane Pow to express his talent through
production (although he recently has been selecting on Stonelove as well). He has build his first riddim, called the "Strings", which
has an acoustic feel to it and is being released today, January 10 on his earthstrong. With his connections and respect in the
business Duane Pow can call up Kalongi or Boscom X, or even Jah Cure and get them to voice on his first riddim ever build,
something that many producers could only dream of.
