Style and professionalism are two attributes Queens native,
DJ Prostyle, has pushed to excel in todays music business.
From an early age, DJ Prostyles been making his mark along the
musical path. Raised by a father who was a disc jockey himself,
at age 13, Prostyle moved to Orlando, Florida where he began to
hone his DJ skills. After several mixtapes and countless house
parties, Prostyle developed a loyal fan base, which in turn
landed him a mixshow on a college radio station at the age of
16. With his loyal following, Prostyle started to DJ at all the
hottest clubs and events that hit the Orlando scene. After high
school, Prostyle wasted no time landing a mixshow at the age of
19.
Prostyle became a member of the infamous national DJ pool the
Heavy Hitters, known throughout the world, with DJ's in every
major market. Having developed a loyal listening audience over
the course of six years on the radio, Prostyle connected with
some of the biggest recording artists in the industry, as well
as record label executives.
At the age of 22, Prostyle was ready to kick it up a notch and
expand his visibility to the television audience. He was given
the opportunity to be a guest DJ on BET's Rap City and after
several appearances on the show, Prostyle cultivated a great
relationship with the executives at BET. Prostyle was then
invited to be a guest DJ/host at BET's Spring Bling. With
Prostyles Latin flair and unmatched skills on the turntables as
a guest DJ/host at Spring Bling for the past three years,
Prostyle advanced his repertoire by becoming a guest DJ on the
most watched music television show in the country, BETs 106 &
Park. Currently, DJ Prostyle is the official DJ for 106 & Park
every Friday.
Against all the odds challenging a new DJ in the worlds largest
media market, Prostyle is blazing a hot new trail by deejaying
the hottest clubs in New York and New Jersey on any day of the
week. To sweeten the pot, Prostyle is the CEO of his label All
Pro Records.
